Charity 2027 – Call for Proposals
This November, we will elect the charity project for 2027. All IWCL members are warmly invited to present a charity initiative that you would like to organize next year.
Please note that the President must receive your proposal by October 5th in order to include it in the November Newsletter, with a personal presentation during the November monthly meeting. The final election will be in December 2026.
In your submission, describe your project in detail: Who will receive the funds, and for what purpose? How will the funds be managed? What types of activities would you organize to raise money (e.g. flea markets, charity dinners with auctions, concerts, etc.)?
You may also consider forming a charity team to manage the different activities—do you already have members in mind who would like to support you?
Please note that all raised funds must be paid directly into the IWCL charity account via Twint or bank transfer and will be transferred to the beneficiary once the charity initiative is concluded.

ARTICLE VI – CHARITY
There shall be a committee which shall be responsible for organising and raising funds for the Club’s chosen charity or charities. The designated recipient(s) of these funds shall be voted upon at the December Monthly Meeting. Any member of IWCL shall be free to present a charity for consideration and voting by the membership, according to the protocol in the bylaws. If there is no Charity during a fiscal year, any profit accruing from Club activities will be put into the Contingency Fund to support members as appropriate.
