DESCRIPTION:We continue our exciting Cooking Circle adventures in March with a taste of typical English food\, offered by our lovely Lydia. We will continue to have a carefully timed ‘first come\, first served’ approach to reserving a place\, with a waiting list made from ladies who contact me by phone\, email or sign-up sheet when the initial list is full. \n“BACK TO BLIGHTY” \nLydia will teach us how to prepare authentic dishes which are staple or typical fare in England.\nWe’ll start with a first course of ‘Coronation Chicken Salad’ – a dish created originally for King George V in\n1935. Lydia will serve this with ‘Irish Soda Bread.’ Our second plate will be a traditional ‘Cheese and\nOnion Tart’ – a staple from the North of England\, and our main course will be ‘Cottage Pie’ with braised\nroot vegetables. ‘Bakewell Tart’ is a famous dessert originating in the Derbyshire town of the same name\,\ntraditionally served with custard. Lydia will serve untraditional red and white wine to accompany the meal! \nOur Club cancellation policy applies.
