DESCRIPTION:AN EXCITING CULTURAL VISIT WITH IRENE FROHLICH-WIENER: ‘FUN-TASTIC OBJECTS’\nI am holding an exhibition of my newest art in Sursee – trains go from Lucerne 4 times an hour\, journey 20 minutes. The train from Lugano to Lucerne takes just under 2 hours – driving is of course an option and usually takes 2 hours too\, unless there are holdups at the Gotthard tunnel.\nThe exhibition is starting 16 April and ends 27 May\, open daily. The Cafe offers nice light lunches\, including Thai food\, at reasonable prices. But it’s busy\, best book if groups would like to come.\nI invited the International Women’s Club Lucerne to join me there for an introduction to the show – entitled “Fun-tastic objects” – a colourful and light-hearted art-show at the very busy Stadt-Café in the centre of this pretty medieval town. It is a solo-exhibition of my latest mixed media work\, few reliefs on walls\, mostly objects in the large windows or hanging from the ceiling. Nothing too serious! It will be lovely if some members of IWCL also came along.
