Our keynote speaker at the March Monthly Meeting was the current Director of AARDT\, and we will follow up from that interesting presentation by going to visit the Archive to see their work in close-up\, to delve into the past\, and to see for ourselves how women lived and worked in Ticino over the past decades.\nThe mission of AARDT is to search for\, preserve and enhance any documents relating to women from our region\, bringing them to life and sharing their contents with the community; to raise awareness in individuals of the importance of keeping photos\, records\, certificates\, diaries\, letters\, notebooks etc; to promote the research and writing of the history of women in Ticino; to offer advice on the professional processing of documents and their keeping by interested people and associations.\n… AND it’s a WOMEN’S ARCHIVE!!!
