DESCRIPTION:Marcello Dudovich was an Italian painter\, illustrator\, and poster designer. He is considered and celebrated as one of the progenitors of Italian poster design and as such is one of the greatest. He was working for Pirelli\, La Rinascente in Milan\, Campari\, Martini\, Agfa Film and many more companies. Ultimately his reputation comes from having developed his own very distinctive and richly colored style using photographs of his models and transferring them on to “paper”.\nThis visit to the exhibition at the MAX Museum in Chiasso is an absolute must! We will meet at the Museum at 09.45 (there is a parking lot nearby) and some of the ladies from the Como International Club will be joining us. \nThe guided tour in Italian is offered in by the director of the Museum Nicoletta Cavadini. Sylvia together with Sue March\, will do the translating. \nAfter the visit we suggest a light lunch at the nearby Restaurant “Carlino” to round off our visit.
