DESCRIPTION:We will meet at the Lugano Train Station at 07.45.\nWe will take the 07.52 TILO train so please be punctual and PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE A VALID RETURN TICKET FOR THE TILO TRAIN and your passport or ID Card! \nOn arrival at 09.07 we will have time for coffee and a visit to the street market in the centre of Monza.\nAt 10.30 sharp we will make our way to look at the 13th. century Arengario\, the ancient town hall before making our way to the Ponte dei Leoni\, the Lion Bridge which was built in 1842 over the remains of a Roman bridge. We will then proceed up Via Lambro\, past the 13th. century Theodelinda Tower to the Duomo Museum\, arriving at 11.00. \nThere will be an hour and 15 minutes to view the museum which is rich in ancient art relics\, all of which have bilingual written details. At 12.30 we will have a visit to Theodelinda’s Chapel\, inside the Duomo to view the 5th. century Iron Crown with an English guide.\nLunch will be your choice\, there are many options and also there will be time to browse in the excellent shops.\nOur return train is at 15.53 arriving in Lugano at 17.00.
